This week has been a bit of a whirlwind of activity and fun stuff. This week we celebrated the awarding of the Awana Citation Award to our oldest child. We ordered our first Graduation Announcements and took our first Senior pictures. Wasn’t it just yesterday that we were doing so many other “firsts” with this child? First tooth, first words, first steps? Now we are celebrating firsts of another kind….which also happen to be some lasts…..it is a bittersweet time for the Mommy 🙂 It’s very sweet, and very fun celebrating these moments together as a family (even the Sr. pictures were somewhat of a family affair…R’s younger sister H went with her for them :)), and I’m so excited to see where the Lord takes our girl! Thankful that He gave her to us over 18 years ago to enjoy this time together! Looking forward to college, more missions work, etc.
Here’s one of her Sr. pictures.
Today she is picking up her graduation announcements…..I am so excited to get those out! 🙂
Congrats to your graduate! It’s exciting, but sad too for us Mom’s. It’s a great picture of you beautiful daughter!
Just stumbled upon your blog. We are a Christian home-schooling family too– one child, a 12 year old girl.
Congratulations to you and your grad!
We have a few years yet before ours will be graduating. It’s hard for me to imagine that day.
