Today I am thankful for coffee! I know it may seem silly and trivial, but coffee is a big part of my morning routine and of my devotional time. This morning I woke up before my coffee maker did (I have a Keurig and I have it set to turn on at a certain time and off at a certain time) so I started my devotions without coffee. Out of habit, twice I reached for my cup until my coffee maker turned on (yes, I could have turned it on manually, but I figured I’d just wait it out). I love reading and sipping on my coffee, and journaling and warming my hands on my mug. I am a coffee purist, I prefer my coffee black for daily drinking…..I do occasionally doctor it up with a little bit of natural creamer or milk & sugar, but not very often. What are you thankful for today?
