Today was one of those days that I treasure as a Christian and as a mom! Today’s church service included baptism AND communion as well as Graduating Senior recognitions. The BEST PART of today’s service? Our son, M was baptised today…..I video taped it on my phone, but haven’t been able to figure out how to get it here yet….as soon as I figure it out I will post it. Although the audio is horrible on it 😦 M is 16 and first accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was 8 years old. His walk with the Lord has strengthened and been actively developing over the past few years, and he is growing up to be a Godly young man. His daddy and I are very proud of the young man that God is crafting him into. We invited a few friends and family to join us to celebrate this event in his walk with us, including his siblings and Daddy and I we had 21 people there to witness his baptism that aren’t his regular church family. Most of those folks came back to our house afterwards for a brunch and swimming. For me, my highlight was a time of prayer that we had at the end of the afternoon. Not only did we get to pray for M, but we had the opportunity to pray for all of the young people that were in the room. For me, and my “mommy’s heart”, I really treasured that time!
