a lunchbox post

Many of my longtime blog readers and friends know that I pack my honey’s lunch every day for work, and have even made lunches for some of the ladies at his work for a while. I used to post his lunches to give others that pack lunches for themselves or their family members ideas. D’s lunches are kind of boring, but he loves them, and so did the ladies that I made them for for nearly 2 years. I do use different kinds of breads for the sandwiches, as well as different fillings. Well, this past couple of days I ran out of regular sandwich bread and I don’t have any wraps or anything else, but I did have some pumpkin bread that I made on Saturday. This inspired me to make something wonderful…..that my honey LOVED yesterday, so I made it for him again today…..

I used the pumpkin bread and spread cream cheese on one side, peanut butter on the other slice, and some jam in the middle and made a sandwich. Don really liked it, and said it was very filling. Tucked in there amoungst the carrots, cherry tomatoes, hummus, almonds, apples, pears, oranges & fuyu persimmon is a lot of love! And in another container is D’s yogurt with honey and frozen berries.
