“Mommy’s Bendy”

This is too cute to not share!   And if she knew I was sharing this with you all, she’d be incredibly embarrassed, so if you know my H in real life, please don’t mention this to her 🙂    The other day, we were trying to figure out our schedule with having multiple kids in multiple places at the same time and only one vehicle.   H made a comment about the mom of one of her friends (she was going to a birthday party for Mrs. C’s oldest daughter) and said “Mom, I know that will be ok with Mrs. C_______, she’s bendy”.   After thinking about it for a split second, I said, “do you mean flexible?”   She giggled in a way that only my 10 year old H can giggle and said “Ya, that’s what I meant”.    So fast forward a few days, and this morning we were all laying on my bed contemplating life as we know it (and procrastinating on getting our house and schoolwork done) and I said something, and H said again “that’s ok, Mommy, you’re bendy”.    We all just started laughing because we knew that this time it was completely “on purpose”……it was so cute!       So, I’m not flexible, I’m bendy!

Are you bendy too?

I love this! I’m afraid that I could stand a change in this area. I have to work on being more “bendy!”

    That’s so cute! I love that….bendy.

Am I bendy? Well that was one of my New Years goals to be more “bendy”, with my dear family. So, it’s a work in progress but so far I like it and they seem to like it too. I really like H’s spin on that word!

I too need to be more ‘bendy.’ Flexibility is a ‘key’ in RDI which we do w/ Andrew. I’m going to start using that term!

Very cute! Isn’t it fun being bendy?!
