It may not FEEL entirely like winter….

but lookie what “I spyed” when I looked out my kitchen window a few minutes ago…..

Yep, those are storm clouds!!!!   We got a little rain last night, but not a ton.  Looks like we are heading for more rain today….THANK YOU GOD!!!!   Our area needs rain this winter, and our mountains need a good snow base this year…we are in drought conditions due to low precipitation last winter and spring.

Our current temperature (it is 11:36 am) is 55 degrees, and we were forecasted to have a high of 52….somehow that just doesn’t seem right 🙂  But I’ll take the rain! 🙂

What is the weather like in your neck of the woods?   I’ve SO enjoyed going to a few  friends blogs today and finding photos of snow….even though I am quite jealous! 🙂

Lori – I’m so glad you left your address on your comment. I have tried to get to your blog before and was unable to get there for some reason. I’ve seen your comments on other blogs and thought I would like to visit you. These pictures are great with the dark sky> It is currently 18 degrees here in southwest Michigan and we have snow, but tonight sleet and freezing rain is predicted (and we have a Christmas party to go to!) I’ll be back again!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I must say, I would rather have our wintery rainy days than digging out from under many feet of snow! Although I really, really don’t like the foggy days we have here in the valley!

Thanks for sharing about your photo experiences with your children. Makes me feel a little better! At least I know it is not just me that is having difficulty getting pictures of a teenager!

    Have a great day!
    Yvonne :o)

Hi Lori! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Weather in my neck of the woods is warm but we are expecting rain this weekend. (We need it too!)

In regards to the Secret Sister program, I am doing it through Tamara at Training Hearts (she’s in my blogroll). You just have to be a homeschooling Mom. She runs a new session every three months and it really is so much fun! I’ve met some great women through this.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend!!
