Sourdough…..I have two live starters in my kitchen right now. One of them was active when it was given to me. Another was a dehydrated starter that needed to be recharged 🙂 With one of the starters, I made some bread yesterday….it was good, but not all that sour. The bread is delicious…..like a white country bread……but not quite what I was wanting. SO, I’m going to play with that particular starter some (it is a potato flake starter) and see if I can’t sour it up some more 🙂 The other I just re-activated yesterday, and so far it isn’t really fermenting…..but it’s only been 24 hours. I’ll give it another 24 hours before I get too concerned 🙂
I’m REALLY looking forward to making some WONDERFUL sourdough baked goods with these starters!
