Well, I haven’t really done too many crafting projects in the recent past, and I’m really wanting to get back to having an afternoon “handwork” time with the whole family…..the children can do their handcrafts, or draw/do artwork, or they can choose to play with legos or something like that. But they are going to need to have their hands busy, and we will play music during this time……I can only imagine all of the unfinished projects I’m going to finish! 🙂 I’m SOOOOO excited! But the very first project that I’m going to be working on is going to be my very first tea towel for an Easter towel swap over at Elizabeth’s new groups For the Love of Tea Towels ….I can’t wait to get started on it! In the next few hours (between now and Saturday morning) I’m going to pick the pattern that I’m going to use so that on Saturday I can head to Michaels and pick up the floss that I need.
Would love your help in picking my pattern……
Here are my choices (oh, I’m doing a cross stitch pattern this first time around)
1.
2.
3.
Since I’m pretty sure these patterns are the size shown above (will have to double check though), I could do a series of 2 or 3 of each pattern across the stitchable panel, OR just do one in the center of the towel….haven’t quite figured that yet or decided yet. Please leave a comment and let me know which is YOUR favorite pattern 🙂
I vote #3! I may be a little bias though, I’m a basket collector 😉 Plus, this one can be used all year round too!
Lori,
I love to cross stitch. I made big pictures for my mom during each of my four pregnancies. I have one in my dining room that is all the names of Jesus that I love. I think the viney one with purple is pretty. I imagine you could finish it in a couple of hours too.
Annie
I like #1… if it were a little row of them. 🙂 I also like #3. 🙂
I found your blog through Menu Plan Monday, btw 🙂
